Pyaaz Wale Tinday #sikandalouscuisine

12 Small Tindas - Peel / scrape tough skin​ - cut to size or make an X cut till halfway down keeping tinda intact.
​14 Shallots If they are small keep them whole.
1/2 Teaspoon Jeera
A Pinch Kasoori Methi.
Make a paste :
1 Large Tomato Chopped Small.
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Paste.
1 Teaspoon Ginger Paste.
1/2 Teaspoon Haldi.
1 Teaspoon Dhania Powder.
Salt to Taste.
Chilies To Taste.

Heat oil , splutter jeera , then add tomatoes and the paste and cook on low till you see oil . Now add in shallots and tindas , gently mix , give a good bhuno on medium heat for 2-3 minutes , splash water , reduce heat and cook covered till done . Add kasoori methi at the end.
Tindas and shallots both should soft yet firm to get a good bite. In this recipe shallots and tindas come together beautifully to give you a light and delicious dish.
