Paneer Steaks 1

Nice delicious , light and easy . Use tofu or perhaps even a fillet of fish . The marination is just a suggestion - came out fragrant and brilliant , use whatever works for you . I took a 200 gram pack of paneer , sliced it through like 100 grams of butter packs . Poked it a bit and marinated the steaks in:

1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Paste.
1/4 Teaspoon Shredded Galanga.
1/4 Teaspoon Shredded Tender Lemongrass.
Olive Oil.

Marinate the steaks in the above for a couple of hours , cling wrap to infuse flavors , refrigerate .
When ready to cook bring back to room temperature , either grill , or cover & pan fry undisturbed 2 minuets on each side - I used a ribbed saucepan to do the same , which gave me these lovely lines !
A simple garlic salt pepper herb olive oil lemon/orange juice marination would give brilliant results too .
