Paneer Bhujiya Dil Khush #sikandalouscuisine
500 Grams Paneer - Coarsely Crumble.
1 Teaspoon Crushed Roasted Jeera
1 Large Red Bell Pepper- Cut into thin strips 1/2 " long.
1 Cup Chopped Dhania Greens.
1 Cup Fried Onions.
1 Teaspoon Garlic Paste.
2-3 Dried Red Chilies.
This is a simple recipe - very subtly flavored and not just tastes delicious but looks great too . Here I kept spice out as I wanted the main ingredients - bell peppers , dhania greens and fried onions to do the job of flavoring this dish , which they did perfectly .
1. Heat oil , add 1 tablespoon dhania leaves , allow them to sizzle and flavor the oil .30 seconds later add dried chilies , garlic and sliced bell peppers. To this add salt and cook covered for 2 minutes on low , you want to lightly soften the peppers , not more. Peppers also would have added flavors to the oil .
2. Now tip in paneer , mix well , add half the fried onions and most of the dhania greens along with roasted jeera , another mix and cook covered on low another 4-5 minutes.
3. Your paneer is now beautifully infused with subtle flavors of fried onions , and dhania greens.
4. Garnish with remaining fried onions and greens when serving .
