250 Grams Atta.
150 Grams Diced Chilled Butter
125 Grams Gur.
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder.
1/2 Teaspoon Sauf Powder.
1/2 Teaspoon Jeera Powder.
Less than 1 Teaspoon Green Cardamom Powder.
2 Tablespoons Chilled Milk - To sprinkle on dough while kneading- If required.
Mix all dry ingredients .Rub in iced chilled butter to get a bread crumb consistency .
Knead the dough lightly , add the milk if needed.
Cling wrap dough and chill for 30 minutes.
Make desired shaped cookies - place on tray and again chill them for 10 minutes.
Bake at 175C for 12-14 minutes depending upon how thick your cookies are .
These come out crumbly and delicious - and are best eaten fresh just as they cool down.
