Inspired by a post made by Prerna Priya Manaswi , I made these yum Singhara Barfi with some adjustments . I used jaggery and introduced sesame seeds and nuts - These came out light and perfect ! Thank you for the inspiration Prerna .
200 Grams Singhara Atta.
125 Grams Ghee
1 Cup Grated Jaggery - Dissolve in 3 Cups Hot Water.
15 Green Cardamon Powdered.
3 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds.
3-4 Tablespoons Chopped Nuts.
Heat ghee , and saute singhara atta slowly till aromatic and the color darkens.Give a long and slow bhuno as you would for any halwa.Slowly add jaggery water and continue to cook till ghee leaves the sides .Add in cardamon powder , sesame seeds and dry fruit - blend in gently.Allow mixture to set in a greased pan , Chill to set . Cut to desired shape. Tey came out light and delicious .
