Kadha #sikandalouscuisine

Happy Navratri - May all divine blessings be with you today and everyday !
From The DHABAS of AMRITSAR by Yashbir Sharma I made this recipe which was generously shared by the owners of SHRI KRISHNA MISTHAN BHANDAR . It's all about bhunoing and love !
400 Grams Sooji.
400 Grams Ghee.
200 Grams Gur.
200 Grams Sugar.
100 Grams Milk.
250 Ml Water.
20 Grams Mellon Seeds.
20 Grams Raisin.
1. Boil milk and water , dissolve gur and sugar and set aside when all dissolve.
2 Heat Ghee , add sooji and bhuno bhuno and bhuno ... slowly till sooji changes color and your home fills with delicous aromas !
3.Slowly add in chasni / syrup , stir 6-8 minutes , cooking slowly.
4. Sprinkle on seeds and raisin .
Delicious Kadha is ready.
Adjust sweetness and consistency to taste - this was a delicious start ot my Navratras !
