Ghar ka khana at it's simplest best . Beans tender and fresh , cooked in a light masala and left with a bite . Use ghee for the best results , or else any white oil.
250 Grams Beans - String them and cut small as you see in the photograph.
2 Tablespoons Minced Onions.
1/22 Teaspoon Jeera Seeds.
Dot of Hing.
Make masala paste adding a bot of water:
1/2 Teaspoon Fennel Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Jeera Powder.
1/2 Teaspoon Dhania Powder.
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Paste.
Heat oil , add hing and jeera seeds , when aromatic add in onions and cook onions till limp but not colored.Now add in the paste , splash water , lightly saute , tip in beans , mix well , cook covered on low heat till just about done - retain a bite and their shape.Delicious daily ka khana !
