All my meals at Tres have been delicious different - they have a new lunch menu for each day of the week . This afternoon was no exception.We sat down to a relaxed meal in this cheerful restaurant - there is plenty of space and light which makes all the difference.
Decided to skip starters and went straight for the mains as we went through a few ( freshly baked ) bread baskets chatting and deciding what to eat.
Two risottos were ordered - A Porcini Mushroom risotto with truffle oil and A mixed seafood risotto in saffron sauce. Nandini Verma loved her vegetarian risotto so much that she decided to host her mom's birthday celebration at Tres ! My Seafood risotto was even better with prawns and very soft calamari . Also ordered was sea bass with an interesting potato crust along with a mustard sauce , again beautifully made .I never got to taste Shaun Lobo's delicious looking prawn pancetta and pork pasta unfortunately ....despite many a hints !
A meal at Tres is always a joy .The food is light and flavorful - European Cuisine at it's best .
