Muchri ( crumpled ) Roti





These 100 % atta ( wheat flour ) rotis are very easy to make and totally delicious. You can eat them on their own with dahi or plain achaar .
Knead flour as you would for roti/parathas .Allow it to rest for 20 minutes covered with a damp cloth.
Take a small amount of atta , make an egg size ball . Flatten it into a disc / roti, spread oil .
Roll the roti -into a tube , roll the tube into a wheel. Flatten with your palm and then roll out with a rolling pin.
On a hot tawa ' sekho ' roti , when crisp on both sides take off the tawa.
Take in your palms and gently crush the roti - and BINGO you have this beautiful layered roti!
This roti can be made oil free in exactly tyhe same way with almost the same delicious results
