Yesterday I got this sudden urge to eat some nice n spicy street food
like chaat or samosas - pakoras too came to my mind . All deep fried and
fattening unfortunately . Then I remembered this lovely and healthy alu
chaat we would often make at home .
I boiled cooled peeled and cubed
potatoes , cut unpeeled cucumber , tomatoes , there was half a capsicum
hanging in the fridge wilting away , that too was rescued only to be cut
up along with some onion. All this was tossed in lemon juice , minced
garlic , salt , chilli powder and some black pepper - you can use
amchoor /chaat masala . Sprinkle hara dhania ,which I forgot to . Chill
and eat this lovely snack - totally oil and guilt free !
