Fish With Drumsticks

 


250-300 Grams Rahu ( Small pieces )
2-3 Tender Drumsticks

Extract 1.5 Tablespoons ( raw ) Onion Juice add 1.5 Tablespoons Lemon juice , set aside for use at the end of cooking .
Scrape , cut to size and blanch in water to which 1 teaspoon of sugar has been added for 1 minute , set aside for cooking at the end.

Step 1
1 Teaspoon Yellow Mustard ( Coarsely Ground )
1 Teaspoon Jeera ( Coarsely Ground ).
1 Teaspoon Coriander Seeds ( Coarsely Ground ).
3-4 Green Chiles .
6-8 Cloves Garlic.
6-8 Curry Putta Leaves.
Salt.

Step 2
2 Teaspoons Garlic paste.
4-5 Green Chiles ( with a slit ).
Curry Leaves.
Drumsticks.
Onion Nimbu Juice

( Step 1 ) Make a paste of the chilies , garlic , curry putta and add salt and coarsely ground seeds to it . Let it sit in 1 Tablespoon Mustard Oil for 1 hour for all flavors to develop and then marinate the fish for 30 minutes to an hour.

( Step 2 ) In a wok heat some mustard oil , add 1 teaspoon garlic paste , let it splutter then add another 6-7 curry putta leaves and some whole green chilies .Next add the fish and cook covered and undisturbed for 2 minutes .
Add the drumsticks , and cook covered for another 2 minutes. The fish will be cooked by now and the drumsticks will have absorbed the flavors too .

Lastly spoon on the onion lemon juice , lightly but nicely mix , cook covered for another 1 or 2 minutes . Your dish is ready and has an amazing flavor - the raw onion juice brings together the dish perfectly .
