A simple no fuss Tomato Rice .
1 Cup Rice.
2 Large Tomatoes Pureed.
1 Teaspoon Garlic Paste.
1/2 Teaspoon Rai.
Parboil rice till about 90% done , strain and spread for later use . Meanwhile make the tomato base.
Heat oil/ghee , add curry putta let it discolor - 10 second , then in goes the rai , once the rai stops bouncing all over add salt , green chilies , pureed tomatoes and garlic .Cook covered till the gravy is ready , you may need to add some water , but only some .
Next spoon in the boiled rice carefully , mix well and cook covered till done over low heat .
Adjust flavors . Delicious and light . Eat with curd.
