Rava / Semolina Fish Rolls 

Delicious and crunchy , these rava coated fish rolls are easy to make and you can also opt for a vegetarian option using paneer / mushrooms etc.

250 Grams Rava to coat the rolls .

3 Fillet Fish ( about 150-175 Grams )
1 Medium Sized Boiled Potato & Mashed.
1 Medium Onion Chopped.
2 Green Chillies Chopped.
15 Curry Leaved Chopped.
1/2 Table spoon Mustard Oil ( to be mixed into the the mixture later )

Paste made out of :
2 Teaspoons Yellow Mustard Seeds.
1/2 Teaspoon Ginger Paste.
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Paste .
1 Tablespoon Mustard Oil.
Salt

For 30 minutes marinate the fish using 2/3 of the paste and mix the balance into the mashed potato.

In a non stick pan heat 1 -2 teaspoons mustard oil and saute the onions , green chillies and curry leaves till onions are limp - about a minute .  Next  add the fish , stir and cover . The fish will cook in its own juices and in the marinade within a few minutes . Cool and gently break the fish into flakey chunks . Mix with mashed potato , add 1/2 tablespoon mustard oil , adjust flavors .

Shape your fish rolls , whip up and an egg white , roll the fish in the egg white and coat with rava . You can deep fry or shallow fry as I did .

With each crunchy bite your taste buds come alive with the tingling and delicious flavors of the mustard fish mixture inside !
